Finished Faith's skirt the other day. I love it. I love it so much that when I finally have this baby and get back into my regular clothes I'm making one for me. Emma's is almost done (she is very upset that I can't finish them at the exact same time). Did I mention I love this skirt?

Charlie's New Blanket
So we finally got rid of the old green blanket. It had three large holes in it and was just falling apart. He also liked to chew on one of the holes (maybe that's a boy thing, because my girls never did that). I was not sad to see it go (it really went into his memory box). So to replace the torn and worn old blanket I made him a new Lighting McQueen one to match his room. He loves it and I love to watch him enjoy it.

Baby Gifts
Made these for my new nephew (after I literally dusted off the sewing machine). I haven't sewn in over five months. It was wonderful to get back into to it. I have a ton I want to get done before our baby comes in two months. Here's hoping I will find the time to get it all done.

Duvet Cover
I finally got around to starting the girls duvet covers. I have had the fabric in my craft room for about three months. Now according to the template I used this is supposed to be done in an hour and a half. They lie!!!! Who ever wrote the tutorial obviously doesn't have four small children constantly interrupting them. That being said, it was well worth all the time. I think it came out so cute. I did have a few problems. That's what you get for waiting till midnight to start cutting the 50 pieces of fabric you need for two of these. Some of my cuts were a little off. No real harm done until I started sewing (once again late at night). I had to redo a whole bunch of the squares because I landed up sewing the wrong ends together. I do have a whole new love for my seam ripper though. Honestly though, I loved sewing this. More than that I love that I created something for my daughter that she just loves. The look of joy on her face made my whole day. One down, one to go. Then it's on to making the matching curtains.
